A Culture of Recognition

The Carter Award is our annual recognition to celebrate the values set forth by our founder, Mark Carter. Employees select a peer to honor who reliably contributes to the organization and exhibits outstanding quality of work. Past recipients have exhibited exceptional dedication to their teams and have built trust among both colleagues and stakeholders, appreciating the importance and value of long-term client relationships. Recipients are also dedicated to continuous self-improvement and actively contribute to the enhancement of the overall company.

Wells Global offers an in-house, four-year Registered Apprenticeship Program that consists of classroom training and on-the-job (OJT) training.

During OJT, apprentices work with our seasoned professionals, receiving hands-on guidance with experienced electricians as they work on active construction sites. This in-real-time education teaches the fundamentals of electrical theory, safety practices, and technical skills.

No experience is necessary, though applicants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. This apprenticeship offers a competitive wage with benefits, with zero cost for the training.
